I WENT TO SRI LANKA :D



i love Kandy :D and i wanna go back again.

so the main purpose of this trip was to see this Buddha tooth relic. lucky enough, the exposition was supposed to last till Tuesday but it closed on Saturday evening and we went to see it on Saturday morning without queuing the long queue which i think, will last for few days. i seriously pity those people who queued for days and still cant see the tooth relic. under the scorching hot sun, no food, no water.. stuck in the line, no where to go but frontwards. worst, it ended earlier. count myself lucky (:

we went to the mountains on Sunday. beautiful sight, but the ride was really long. 2-3 hour bumpy ride. compare 3 years ago, i think the road is better. in their slang, very well carpeted. it was very cold, plus the rain, freezing.

and Wednesday, we stayed at Kandy the whole day. went shopping, but ended up with nothing except chewing gum and some tea leaves. we didn't go to this particular souvenir shop to get coz not enough time ):

and off to the airport on wednesday night for midnight flight back to Sg.

Thank god wiki had all these descriptions and pictures. and i was practically asleep the whole trip. so not much pictures ):
